Embraved (“Embraved,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal data collected through our website, products, and services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information in accordance with applicable federal and Virginia laws, including the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA).

By using the Site and/or purchasing, viewing, downloading, or otherwise signing up to receive Embraved email list newsletter, social media posts, blog posts, courses, coaching services, guides, eBooks, forms, worksheets, workbooks, website materials, and/or gifts, merchandise, and retail goods (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Site, Courses, Services, and/or Products”), you voluntarily agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

Pixels. The Company may use social media pixels (such as the Facebook Pixel) to track visitors to the Site so we can tailor advertisements towards those visitors on various social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. The Company reserves the right to use pixels in accordance with the terms of the social media platform.

It is also important to note that we do allow third-party behavioral tracking.

6. CUSTOMER ARTWORK & CONTENT

Artwork, logos, and customization content submitted by customers are used solely to fulfill orders. We do not claim ownership of customer content. Customers are responsible for ensuring they have legal rights to submitted materials, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to:

•       Fulfill orders

•       Maintain business records

•       Comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations

•       Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the data and legal requirements. We will keep your personal information until the earlier of: (1) you ask us to delete your information, or (2) the Company determines it no longer needs the data.

10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY (COPPA)

We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13. Please do not use, view, purchase, or otherwise browse the Site if you are under 13 years old. If you are under 13, you are not permitted to enter any Personal Information on this Site.

If you are a parent and believe your child under the age of 13 has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us immediately to have it removed at connect@embraved.co.

Our website and products are not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

12. GOOGLE ADS & ANALYTICS

We have implemented Demographics and Interests Reporting through Google Analytics. We, along with third-party vendors such as Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) or other third-party identifiers together to compile data regarding user interactions with ad impressions and other ad service functions as they relate to our website.

To opt out of Google Ads, you can set preferences at the Google Ad Settings page. Alternatively, you can opt out by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out page or by using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser add-on.

13. CALIFORNIA ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT (CALOPPA)

CalOPPA requires any company that operates websites collecting Personal Information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals or companies with whom it is being shared.

Pursuant to CalOPPA, we agree to the following:

•       Our Privacy Policy link includes the word ‘Privacy’ and can easily be found on our website.
